… individual user posts scrolled across the screen. She had a moment of rest from work, a small break between one activity and another. That's when she escaped to Twitter, it's her way to escape from her thoughts. To escape, at least for a moment, from the thoughts of what was, what is and what the future may bring. So she looked through these posts, some less carefully, others more carefully. Especially when one of them interested her. She clicked "Follow" on the most intriguing ones, and it was rare for anyone to reciprocate...
…she doesn't remember how many times she liked someone's profile and clicked "Follow" today. Maybe two or three times, maybe more times. She was already thinking about leaving the portal when the "notification" came. Someone reacted and reciprocated, started following her profile. She checked again who it was and what profile they had.
She decided to write and thank her - "Thanks for following me back. Nice to meet you as well.”
The answer came quite quickly. Casual but polite and polite – “Thank you. I'm glad. Regards.” A girl, or rather a mature woman, because despite her very young appearance, she was already several springs into her life. The girl, after a short thought, even pushed by impulse, decided to make a friend. She introduced herself – “I'm Jenny, May I know your name? – while asking for the name of the person you just met…
...she didn't get an answer... it was 1.17 p.m. London tim

...as usual, he was sitting at the computer, on his favorite literary website. He had quite a lot of literary achievements there. He also had a large group of friends and supporters. No, he had never met them, but they were close to him, as he was to them. He also checked Twitter quite often. The events of the last year and what was happening in Poland made him interested in politics again. He was just browsing the latest posts there when he received a notification that someone had started following him. More instinctively than deliberately, he responded in kind. He clicked "Follow". However, he was surprised by the other person's response, a message sent to him thanking him. It's rather rare here...
He replied briefly and politely - "Thank you. I'm glad. Regards.” He didn't respond to subsequent messages, he didn't even look at them, he was busy with his own affairs. Besides, the other side wasn't pushy. After two messages, she stopped talking and he had no intention of making new friends...

... a short break from professional activities. She entered the Twitter portal. She didn't think about yesterday's events, about the fact that someone ignored her desire to make friends. She doesn't know why she decided to say hello. She sent a short message, just two words - "Good morning" - the message remained unanswered...
The answer came two hours later - "Good Morning. My name is Gregory (Greg)” – this time the interlocutor introduced himself. She decided to talk for a while, find out more about this man...
... unfortunately, she was ignored again ... it was 0.08 p.m. London time…

... he got up quite late, he was on night duty. Sleep-deprived and overtired, he was a bit nervous. A quick breakfast, a short walk with the dog and the computer turned on. Routinely checking emails and social media messages took some time. The last messages to be checked were the messages on Twitter, and there was only one, from a woman who started following his profile yesterday and for whom he had no time yesterday. The message contained only two short words, a standard greeting. He replied in the same way, and since she had introduced herself early on, he, obliged by the rules of culture, also gave his name. Some time had passed since her message, so he didn't expect a reply. However, the answer came very quickly, as if the other side was waiting for his reaction...
... decided to check who he was dealing with and visited her profile page. Nothing interesting, apparently. Nothing interesting, the account (in English) was created in September, ten years earlier. According to the description, founded on Long Island, USA. However, the "follow" statistic indicates a small reach and suggests poor activity. And a profile photo. A young, pretty girl, but in an outfit suggesting one of those girls who tempt with their bodies and impose themselves on men for some obvious benefit. Rather unconsciously, he looked at her posts. And here's a bit of a surprise.
“Hmmm,” he thought, “interesting.” He decided to take a closer look at her profile later. He ignored her for now. He wasn't interested in this type of woman, but there was something intriguing here...

…the work was going smoothly, and yet she was irritated. Or maybe just slightly intrigued by a man who has already ignored her invitation to talk and maintain the friendship twice. She decided to ask directly about the reason for this, not very polite, treatment of her person.
– "Good morning, are you busy always?" – the message was simple but definitely direct. She wanted to provoke him to answer. She had to wait about an hour for the answer and it was a bit of a surprise. This time he answered quite extensively, without unnecessary details, but rationally, explaining his actions. She wanted to find out more about this man, so she started a conversation, asking questions and answering them herself. To her surprise, the man stopped ignoring her and even showed some interest in her. He also did not avoid answering questions about himself. His attitude, statements and honesty captivated her. She felt a little hope that maybe she had met someone worth interested in. Who can become her sincere friend. She had many acquaintances and friends, but she constantly missed someone like this man...
...she suggested continuing the conversation on another messenger. To her joy, she accepted the offer… it was 1.02 p.m. London time…

… he checked her profile carefully at night. A short "reach" and low activity on the website are not a problem and not a reason to discriminate against anyone. Worse than that, the profile picture was not worthy of praise in his eyes. However, the further he looked through her entries, the more time he devoted to them, the more this woman surprised and intrigued him. He found a few pictures of her, but none of them really caught his attention, none of them were in any way too daring. None of them were sexy or excessively erotic. She was a normal, young and beautiful woman. There was only one thing that puzzled him, the lack of a smile on her lips, that certain nostalgia and sadness in her eyes. Moreover, these hazel, or rather brown, eyes also heralded intelligence. Some trace of the will to live was also visible in them. This was also evidenced by her entries devoted not only to typical women's interests, such as fashion and beauty. There were also those that touched on politics and world problems…

... he decided not to speak first, he wasn't sure whether his previous ignorance had not offended her so much that he would not want to maintain this relationship. But the woman spoke up. The content and form of the message showed that she was slightly irritated by the current situation. He replied in a matter-of-fact and polite manner, but disregarding his previous doubts about her. The conversation started to turn positive. She also began to bring him satisfaction. He felt that his first impression was wrong, that he had accidentally offended her…
... he was even happy when she suggested moving the conversation to another messenger. He had nothing to lose. He was poor, even a pauper. There was no danger of any losses from this side. Feelings? He had long since given up thinking about them. Besides, the woman looked pragmatic and he didn't think she could decide on such madness. "it's true that life likes to be perverse and crazy" -
he thought, but he was curious about new impressions - "Let's see what Providence will come up with and bring."
